Company Description:

My name is Roxy Schultz, the designer and owner behind Wild by Design. My jewelry line is handmade in Portland, Oregon, using real preserved flowers, ferns, fruit, and faux insects. My line includes earrings, rings, necklaces, and hair accessories. I use hand-pressed botanicals to give a second life to flowers and plants by encasing them in four separate layers of resin to ensure perfect preservation. I apply the resin layers thinly to keep the jewelry lightweight and extremely comfortable to wear. All my earring hooks are either sterling silver or 14k gold-filled. Using the highest quality metals is essential to me to avoid skin sensitivities and allergies. Depending on the piece, I incorporate semi-precious stones or other metals. Some of my most popular designs feature lifelike faux insects, such as butterflies, moths, and bees, made from organic cotton rag pearl paper that shimmers in the sunlight. I draw inspiration from the breathtaking nature of the Pacific Northwest and find joy in creating one-of-a-kind pieces that preserve and honor the fleeting beauty of flowers and plants.
