Company Description:
The Forest Blues is a Seattle-based art practice by Rachael Hood that uses the historical process of the cyanotype.I mindfully make botanical designs with plant materials and sunlight to imprint on fabric, paper, and thrifted clothing. I use everything from ferns, onions blooms and fennels seeds to the fallen leaves from my own house plant collection. This small business is only a year old; you can normally find me at the Fremont Market.
